Avgol is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated FP&A analyst to join its HQ FP&A team.

Job Summary
The FP&A Analyst will play a crucial role in providing financial insights that drive decision-making across the organization. This individual will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills to effectively partner with various departments.

Job Description

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and
    long-term planning
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable
    recommendations

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather input and ensure accuracy in financial
    projections
  • Track performance against budgets/forecasts and provide variance analysis

3. Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including dashboards and presentations for senior leadership
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed

4. Business Partnering

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and align financial strategies with business objectives
  • Act as a financial advisor to various departments, offering insights to guide strategic decisions
  • Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, tools, and systems
  • Streamline reporting and forecasting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Proactive and independent
  • Experience with SAP is a plus
  • Experience in a global manufacturing company is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fluent in English
