Job Description
- Verify proper machine settings with appropriate order / recipe
- Walk the line to check machine parameters
- Check and maintain log entries within MII
- Perform all functions of start-up and shutdown of line independently
- Clear and open communication with Lab, leads and shift manager
- Change extrusion screens when needed
- Conduct routine quality checks and troubleshoot quality related issues
- Demonstrate understanding of recipe requirements
- Ensure quality by continually watching for any abnormality and reporting it timely
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma (or a GED)
- OR Equivalent experience
- Good problem solving skills
- Basic math skills
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Working harmoniously with co-workers while exhibiting a “can-do” attitude is critical to success
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a somewhat frequent basis
- Note: Work area is a manufacturing environment which is not climate controlled year round, with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud requiring hearing protection.
