Job Description

• Verify proper machine settings with appropriate order / recipe
• Walk the line to check machine parameters
• Check and maintain log entries within MII
• Perform all functions of start-up and shutdown of line independently
• Clear and open communication with Lab, leads and shift manager
• Change extrusion screens when needed
• Conduct routine quality checks and troubleshoot quality related issues
• Demonstrate understanding of recipe requirements
• Ensure quality by continually watching for any abnormality and reporting it timely
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma (or a GED)
• OR Equivalent experience
• Good problem solving skills
• Basic math skills
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Working harmoniously with co-workers while exhibiting a “can-do” attitude is critical to success
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a somewhat frequent basis
• Note: Work area is a manufacturing environment which is not climate controlled year round, with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud requiring hearing protection.
