Job Description

• Convert waste product into raw material of good quality
• Check waste for defects and throw defective material away
• Perform preventive maintenance on machine as needed – housekeeping is a major portion of preventive maintenance
• Maintain constant temperature of machine
• Assure proper loading of material
• Constantly monitor for pellet defects
• Drive forklift as needed
• Ensure quality – continually watching for and reporting abnormality, moisture checks on the bottom, middle and top of every bag from silo
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma (or a GED)
• OR Equivalent experience
• Good problem solving skills
• Basic math skills
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Working harmoniously with co-workers while exhibiting a “can-do” attitude is critical to success
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a somewhat frequent basis
• Note: Work area is a manufacturing environment which is not climate controlled year round, with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud requiring hearing protection.
